Our Receptionist is our “Director of First Impressions” and should be helpful, friendly, and professional at all times. The Receptionist will greet and direct callers and visitors appropriately as well as maintain security and confidentiality. In addition, our receptionist is also the website administrator for several of our clients. The Receptionist will also perform various other tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.

  • Greets and directs callers by answering telephone calls, determining the nature of their business, and directing callers to the appropriate destination.
  • Welcomes visitors and employees to the office by greeting them; and answering and referring questions. Keeps track of the manager’s whereabouts to facilitate communication with callers.
  • Accurate data entry of information into our industry-specific software.
  • Maintains a safe and clean reception area by complying with established policies and procedures.
  • Completes special assignments as directed.
  • Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail appropriately and promptly.
  • Inventories office supplies and maintains levels of printer/copier supplies.
  • Maintains office telecommunications system by operating and inspecting equipment according to manufacturer's instructions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate with a preference of 2 years of college or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of high-standard customer service / administrative-related experience.
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to effectively deal with confrontational situations and use mature judgment while maintaining a resourceful and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Possess excellent written, organizational, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent Telephone Skills
  • Professionally perform multiple, detail-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines with great accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reliable
  • Possess strong work ethic and loyalty. Team player.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
