Tutor, teacher, and coordinator

Seeking an energetic, responsible, and highly motivated individual to perform a variety of tasks in our downtown location,

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Collaborating with partner organizations in program execution • Helping to maintain student/learner database, including entering new students/tutors, updating information, Providing help with the grant-writing process • Posting events, news items, McLit promos to social media • Attending expos, fairs, and other community events to promote McLit and recruit volunteers and learners • Tutoring learners as needed in a wide variety of subject areas, including reading, writing, math, personal finance, health, computer skills, job search, and ELL and an enthusiasm for working with English language learner,. Maintaining regular correspondence, including thank you letters, donation request letters, etc.

Attention to detail and problem solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task •
