As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all training programs within the Mooresville facility. You will work closely with supervisors, managers, HR, and corporate training providers to ensure that employees receive the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. Your duties will include developing training schedules, organizing training materials and resources, assessing training needs, evaluating training effectiveness, and maintaining training records. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying new training opportunities, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices, and continuously improving the organization's training programs.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement training plans and strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

· Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling training sessions, and arranging necessary equipment and materials.

· Collaborate with supervisors and managers to assess training needs and identify skill gaps.

· Design and develop training materials, presentations, and other learning resources.

· Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars either independently or in collaboration with subject matter experts.

· Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics.

· Maintain accurate training records and databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Provide support and guidance to trainers, trainees, and other stakeholders throughout the training process.

· Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training and development.

· Continuously assess and improve training programs based on feedback and performance outcomes.

· Collaborate with HR to integrate training initiatives with employee development and career progression pathways.

· Drive Pactiv Evergreen Production System actions and results related to training and compliance.

· Serve as a back-up for new hire orientations, both Spanish and English classes.

· Create and maintain tracking systems for training standards.

· Support the Training Coordinator with new initiatives and tasks where needed.

· Oher tasks as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

· Proven experience in training coordination, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

· Spanish and English language proficiency is preferred.

· Strong organizational and project management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training software/tools.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

· Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

· Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to training and development.

· Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and occasional travel for training purposes.

· Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs.

· Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

 

Work Conditions:

  • This position will work both in the plant and in the office depending upon the task at hand. 
  • The plant environment is an industrial environment that may experience high temperatures and humidity during the summer months
  • Hearing Protection is required when out on the production floor due to industrial machinery sound level
  • Required to wear ASTM F2413-05 safety shoes (Steel or comparable safety shoes worn at all times) while on the production floor
  • Hair and or fascial hair grooming maintained to support food safety standards with the use of hair and/or beard nets
  • Basic 40-hour work week with occasional need to work irregular hours or additional hours.
