Job Description: Analytics Concierge Specialist

The Data & Analytics team the Center for Healthcare Quality & Analytics is responsible for empowering users with data across the institution, providing a unique blend of clinical, business, technical, and analytical expertise.

The team works with multiple groups within the organization to improve strategic, operational, and financial aspects of the mission to improve patient care. Under the umbrella of Self-Service and Data Literacy Program, the team is looking to build an Analytics Concierge Team to be the go-to resource for everything within the analytics and business intelligence process (including data discovery, data mining, data analysis and customized visualizations).

The Analytics Concierge Team will be the first stop for individuals across CHOP to support data-driven questions. We are looking for problem solvers who are excited about joining a growing, collaborative team with a big impact. This role will report to the Data Literacy Program Manager to manage deliverables, elevate self-service opportunities across the enterprise and escalate issues that arise.

Essential Functions:
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently and meet deliverable deadlines as set by the Data Literacy Program Manager.
  • Create new data sets and build reporting/analytical solutions based on the request and details provided by the customer
  • Identify and elevate data education needs and self-service opportunities for the Data & Analytics team
  • Direct unresolved issues to the Data Literacy Program Manager
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
Education Requirement: Associate's Degree

Experience Preferred: Experience in a data exploration, analysis and/or data driven research
Level 2A worker

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proven experience in a customer support role
  • Ability to plan, organize work and use time effectively and efficiently
Preferred:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language (C/C++, Java, Python) or an analytical language (SAS, R)
  • Excellent problem solving, strong attention to detail and communication (verbal and written skills)
