Job Description:

The Leasing Coordinator is the first point of contact for all prospects who visit, call or e-mail the property. The position oversees and embodies all aspects of the company’s culture and customer service. It requires optimism, patience, kindness, generosity, and knowledge of the property and overall company. The Leasing Coordinator will work closely with the General Manager to drive prospect traffic, assist in resident relations and provide knowledge of lease administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an active and working knowledge of all aspects of the community and major competition
  • Develop professional, service-based relationships with our clients, resident and vendors, working to anticipate their needs and want as individuals
  • Follow all fair housing standards in all matters
  • Become proficient on Entrata lease to navigate the system, answer questions, and enter daily work orders
  • Responsible for opening and closing procedures
  • Effectively lease apartments responding to internet leads, answer prospect calls, schedule appointments, conduct property tours and promote community features
  • Train and Oversee the leasing consultants in regards to customer service, tours, and general front desk etiquette
  • Work with General Manager to create a marketing plan including brochures, internet advertising, corporate housing, print and media
  • Conduct market surveys on regular basis
  • Assist with leasing and resident activities and branding of the overall community
  • Embrace and assist with resident interactions
  • Conduct daily follow up calls to residents to insure maintenance issues have been resolved.
  • Identify areas of need or concern on the property or in service as witnessed or learned from residents
  • Monitor and delegate the package tracking system to insure packages are safe and delivered expeditiously

Characteristics and Qualifications:

  • Dynamic and energetic individual who is eager to be the face of our company, brand, and property in the markets that we serve
  • Associates’ degree preferred, High school diploma required
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the apartment, student housing, or leasing hospitality-- Required
  • Outgoing, gregarious personality and a passion to serve; excellent written and verbal skills
  • Active knowledge of online Social Media and social presence avenues
  • Strong organization and administrative abilities as well as excellent communication and people kills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and daily use of a car to inspect the community and surrounding neighborhood.
