Inside Sales Representative

Base Hourly wage plus commission.

The Inside Sales Representative will help identify the business needs, challenges and concerns of our customers and is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations. Duties are performed with excellence, and you enjoy working with a diverse group of personalities to solve problems and exceed sales goals. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Creating and processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Answering customer inquiries, tracking orders, and following up with customers about their order status.
• Developing support relationships with sales representatives.
• Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems.
• Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system
• Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business, a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
• Computer literacy, IT skills, and typing skills
• Strong excel knowledge
• Experience in administration and high-volume office work
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus without losing sight of projects and goals
• An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Experience with Infor/M3 a plus

Generally indoor work environment with variable conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently sit for long periods of time.
• Occasionally lift 20 pounds unassisted.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers.
