Join us and grow your career as you help Abbott shape the future of healthcare.This Sr. Mobile Software Engineer position works at one of the following locations: Alameda (CA), Austin (TX), Bend (OR), Chicago (IL), or Orlando (FL).What you’ll doLead the solution design, development, and maintenance of complex full-stack web and mobile applicationsWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React Native and other technologies, such as Node.js, GraphQL, etc.Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and coding standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement new featuresWrite both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasksChallenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutionsDebug and troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performanceEnsure the applications are secure, scalable, and accessibleStay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in web and mobile developmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field8+ years of experience in software engineering with deep expertise in mobile app development (iOS and/or Android); Rich Experience in delivering operation excellent, secure, reliable, sustainable, cost efficient, high performance modern JavaScript-based mobile products.Extensive experience with React Native, JavaScript, and ReactJSExpertise in server-side technologies, such as Node.js, GraphQL, etc.Expertise with native build tools, such as XCode, Gradle, etc.Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end servicesKnowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Apium, etc.Strong experience with devops,  including Git,Jenkins or other CICD tools.Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsStrong leadership and mentorship skillsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plusPrior experience leading teams and managing projects are highly desirable.Apply Now* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
