JOB DESCRIPTION Industrial Maintenance Technician (4619)

Location: East Houston, TX area

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance related activities for all equipment at facility.

Essential Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair any electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain clean, neat maintenance shop and work area
• Ability to weld structure and pipe; carbon and SS
• Make recommendations to management for any repairs or replacements needed
• Obtain quotes from vendors to perform repairs/replacements
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to repair parts
• Oversee the fire and security systems for the plant
• Minor maintenance repairs to ensure production equipment is operational
• Assist production managers in improving efficiency of production equipment
• Order maintenance shop supplies
• Ensure customer owned property is properly maintained

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Must be familiar with troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Must have experience with rotating equipment
• 3 years of millwright experience
• 2 years mechanical experience
• 1 year electrical experience

Type of Assignment:

• Temp - hire

Shift Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Required on call rotation every 4 weeks for 7 days, 24/7

Salary:

$30/hour
