****Position Summary****
Job Responsibilities:
* Support pilot plant trials, perform daily assignments within the pilot plant including equipment, ingredient and supply set-up, sanitation, operation, and cleaning in compliance with established safety standards and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP's).
* The Technician will be capable of setup and operation of the Processing / Filling Line and its associated ancillary equipment. The Technician will also be capable for the cleaning and sterilization of all equipment associated with the days trial.
* Ensures efficient operation of the manufacturing line by continuously monitoring output and identifying negative trends.
* Follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment policies as pertains to role.
* Conduct routine tests on Pilot Plant floor, collect and submit data. May be expected to submit samples to analytical for laboratory analysis.
* Conduct routine packaging tests and inspections on Pilot Plant floor using package integrity equipment (peel, burst, leak, headspace O2, etc.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years experience in basic operation or maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.Technical experience preferred.
* Capability to assist multiple disciplines and functions.
* Demonstrated technical aptitude
* Ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
* Basic organizational skills.
* PC skills
* Mechanical skills required to operate equipment
