Nuclear Medicine Technologist job details include:

  • Rotating Schedule, Part-time
  • Pay rate: $27/hr (additional $1.50 incentive for good attendance, and pay could be more depending on experience)


Daily tasks include preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Perform and assist with nuclear medicine studies. Maintains all federal, state, local, and regulatory agency requirements. Be responsible for patient safety protocols, prepare and perform patients for diagnostic exams, maintain basic records and reports, and assist with incoming calls.


Requirements:

  • High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in nuclear medicine. Licensed in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
  • Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Current BLS Certification.
