Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and be eager to learn and grow within the role. This position will involve assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain financial documents, such as invoices, bills, and bank statements.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the Senior Accountant in conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred, but recent graduates with internships or coursework in accounting will also be considered.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
