CareOnSite, a distinguished division of Tang & Company, is thrilled to announce an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a strong clinical background, exceptional computer skills, and a flair for multitasking.

Position: Medical Assistant (MA)
Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4 hours per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive physical exams, including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit testing, drug and alcohol testing, and other specialized tests as required.
  • Perform basic lab tests, expertly handle specimens, administer medications and injections, conduct blood draws, and proficiently apply splints and dressings.
  • Ensure the daily examination rooms are meticulously organized, conduct stock inspections, and guarantee that supplies are abundantly available for optimal patient care.
  • Provide invaluable assistance to attending medical providers during examinations and medical procedures.
  • Undertake administrative duties, including patient scheduling, phone answering, and meticulous maintenance of patient charts.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all state and federal regulations, including professional certification, patient confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines, and adherence to treatment and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to COVID-related responsibilities, such as temperature screenings, questionnaire administration, vital sign monitoring, and testing.
  • Undertake various front and back-office duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) course from an accredited/recognized school.
  • Possession of a Medical Assistant (MA) certificate consistent with the requirements specified by the State Medical Board.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) with AED certificates.
  • Clinical experience is a significant advantage, showcasing your commitment to excellence.
