Ascentron (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Test/Debug Technician to join its White City, OR team! The Test/Debug Technician test completed circuit boards and assemblies and troubleshoot units that have failed functional test.

Responsibilities of the Test Technician:

  • Must be able to troubleshoot basic test system failures.
  • Perform basic board level failure analysis and rework.
  • Run system-level functional tests if available.
  • Understand the data collection requirements at test with regards to pass/fail/defect information and enter such information appropriately.
  • Interpret board fails to allow for accurate troubleshooting in order to warrant rework to the circuit board or a re-test providing the test fail was determined untrue.
  • Understand board schematics and test procedures in order to comprehend how the specific assembly functions to appropriately troubleshoot and rework failed circuit boards.

Qualifications for the Test Technician:

  • Two years previous experience is desirable.
  • An associate degree in electronics or equivalence is necessary for this position. Additionally, the employee will be required to successfully complete all internal training courses, offered by the company necessary to do the job.

4 - 10 hour shifts. With opportunity for overtime on Fridays.
5:00 am-3:30pm Monday through Thursday.
Holidays and weekends off
