Operations Manager

The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client in Arkansas looking for an Operations Manager. This role is a big partner in the senior leadership team of the plant overseeing production, chasing KPIs, striving for continuous improvement initiatives, and is critical to the success of the plant. This role oversees a large salaried and hourly workforce!There is plenty of growth opportunity for this role and within the company and this would be a stepping stone for a long fruitful career in manufacturing career.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

Be the subject matter expert on all assigned production lines and areas; understanding the process from start to finishMentor and manage all direct reports, salaried and hourly employeesCollaborate with production, quality, warehouse, maintenance, engineering, and HR on all issues relating to products, production lines, equipment, and personnel issuesContinously strive for process improvement in your area; pushing CI initiatives across production lines and coaching team members on proces improvement Be a servant leader in the plantChase after KPIs in the plant: daily, weekly, monthly reporting of these numbersWork with Warehouse, Inventory, and Supply Planning on goods, products, test runs, and timelines of production linesMaintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees Ensure all products are made safely and by government standard maintaining a strong relationship with USDA and FDA

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelors Degree3+ years of production management or operations management experience10+ years of manufacturing experience in various industries Experience overseeing salaried and hourly workforceExperience in food or packaging or related industries
