Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Your primary duty will be to ensure that all dishes are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently to support the smooth operation of the kitchen. You will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to the overall dining experience for customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
2. Sort and stack dishes and utensils for washing, ensuring that items are properly arranged to maximize efficiency.
3. Hand wash delicate items or those that cannot be cleaned in the dishwashing machine.
4. Monitor dishwasher machine temperatures and chemical levels to ensure effective cleaning and sanitation.
5. Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly, disposing of waste in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops.
7. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
8. Report any maintenance or repair issues with equipment to the appropriate personnel.
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.
