POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Director (AD), Client Partnership is responsible for client management and the successful delivery of work for a book of business totaling $2M - $5M in revenue across a few accounts. The AD is accountable for the overall partnership between Ansira and the clients in their portfolio, managing the client engagement to an acceptable level of risk by balancing speed, quality, and value, while maintaining a positive environment that promotes individual development and high-performance standards.
The primary responsibilities include owning and fostering day-to-day client relationships across multiple business units and with a focus on the automotive vertical. This includes establishing and growing client relationships by being a thought leader and trusted advisor. Additionally, the AD is responsible for the overall delivery of the SOWs - ensuring accountability, quality and profitability in the work and services delivered. The AD will partner closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Center of Excellence (COE) teams to ensure process, templates and tools are leveraged across the accounts and refinements are made where needed. They will also make certain the right teams are in place to deliver the work as efficiently and effectively as possible. The AD will be heavily involved in managing automotive digital marketing programs and overseeing the large teams that support said programs.

A successful AD possesses strong leadership and creative problem-solving skills and identifies solutions that solve client challenges. The AD reports to the Sr. Dir, VP or SVP, CP.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • AD focus is at the program and client engagement level and is responsible for coaching the team to drive efforts across each
  • Will provide monthly budget updates at client level for entire program (utilizing/summarizing specific burn reports provided at the project level by PM) - Financial performance monitoring (margin health)
  • Manage issues/risks & escalations to Portfolio Leadership Team (delivery health)
  • They are the immediate point of escalation for the team
  • Responsible for managing account forecasting, scoping/billing and revenue recognition.
  • Responsible for identifyingand converting growth opportunities aligned with revenue growth goals
  • Strong understanding of the client's business, their context within the industry and competitive position, and how Ansira's work has an impact
  • Understand the capabilities of all agency departments to effectively lead the Ansira team to identify, pitch and convert sales opportunities
  • Accountable for ensuring the team working on their portfolio understands client goals to meet and exceed expectations and is a participant in internal and external ideation and brainstorming sessions
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of delivery across Ansira's competency areas. Leverages this knowledge to build and fit into a client's digital transformation agenda
  • Help ensure the right team is in place to meet client account growth goals
  • Manage monthly billing procedures; communicate any budget variances to client and close any gaps.
  • Has experience managing others and knows how to effectively guide and coach them in their day-to-day roles

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Marketing or related field
  • At least 4 years of agency experience
  • At least 8 years of Account and/or Client Management experience
  • Experience nurturing & mentoring a team
  • A "confident leader"; comfortable speaking from a position of knowledge with clients and industry leaders. Strong storytelling ability is fundamental for this role
  • Experience in consultative selling and/or delivering marketing solutions for enterprise brands
  • Proven track record in cultivating senior client relationships
  • Track record of growing accounts and supporting new business
  • Excellent client facing and presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail and organized
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, One Drive)
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Fast paced, multi-tasking, assertive, ability to switch gears quickly, adaptable nature required; Solution oriented and resolution focused
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, fellow team members, and all internal clients with a high degree of professionalism, strong written and verbal communication skills
