Civil Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Estimator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in civil construction, with proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam or Xactimate. While a Bachelor's degree is preferred, we are open to candidates with a high school diploma who demonstrate the right fit for the position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize estimating software to accurately estimate costs for civil construction projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Analyze project requirements and scope to determine materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project phase.
• Prepare detailed takeoffs and quantity surveys for various civil construction activities, including earthwork, grading, utilities, and roadwork.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Present cost estimates to management and participate in bid reviews and negotiations.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software, such as Bluebeam, Xactimate, Agtek
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but candidates with a high school diploma will also be considered

Salary:

• 70,000 to 90,000
