Production Worker / Warehouse Associate

ARG Industrial is seeking a full-time Production Worker/Warehouse Associate in our Fairbanks location. We are looking for a self-starter who works well with others in an energetic team environment, has the ability to take charge, and possesses a willingness to learn. The candidate must be organized, possess a strong attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fabricate hydraulic and industrial hoses and assemble work orders
• Manufacture hose assemblies to required specifications
• Handle walk in customers, process counter orders
• Quality control processing for outgoing work orders
• Functionally verifies product performance to the defined test criteria
• Utilizes hand and power tools
• Use of hose assembly equipment to cut, clean, crimp, cap and kit hose assemblies
• Communicate material shortages and/or issues to the production supervisor in charge as needed
• Assist in daily inventory counts
• Be able to recognize different fittings and hose types and sizes by sight
• Forklift operation
• Other duties as assigned

Successful candidate will possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random hair follicle drug screenings
• Previous forklift experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions. Must be able to stand, bend, and work on your feet and lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong work ethic with a team player attitude
• Completes work assignments in a timely manner
• Must be attentive to detail
• Reliable and dependable adherence to work schedule
