Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions (a Taylor company) is seeking aSoftware Developerto join our team. This critical position will play a key role in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software programming applications.

This position is open to be 100% remote!

Your Responsibilities:

• Create SQL queries and develop applications to transform customer data into mailable products
• Process files for proofing and production
• Quality check work for all jobs, including jobs worked by others on the team
• Performs assigned job using established procedures for job completion
• Analyze work orders
• Prepare and process data through postal cleansing software
• Can read understand complex standard requirement artifacts, requirement matrices, and process maps
• Must be able to occasionally work extended hours on short notice

You Must Have:

• Experience in application development with Microsoft Visual Studio (preferably C#). This includes form based and console applications, and integration with SQL Databases, XML, JSON, CSV.
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Intermediate level experience with MS-SQL to create queries, transform data, and create reports/dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with communication of concepts to technical and non-technical staff.
• Capacity to effectively handle multiple technical roles in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes.
• Experience with multi-tasking, multi-processing fast paced IT environment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven workplace.
• Ability to multi-task.

We would also prefer:

• Knowledge of document composition tools (Quadient Inspire)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Knowledge of ETL tools and concepts
• Intermediate HTML development skills
• Simple web design for internal use

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
