General Labor

The General Laborer is responsible for performing various supporting tasks to aid daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Providing packaging material to fruit packers and maintaining trolley system stocked with the necessary material.
• Labeling and packaging packed boxes.
• Washing and stacking empty totes.
• Maintaining work area clean and free of any fruit on the floor, leaves, or debris.
• Other duties or tasks as needed.

Education and Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced production/warehouse environment in the last year required.

Skills

• Ability to lift 40+ lbs. consistently throughout the day
• Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
• Ability to climb and descend stairs frequently

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to a typical fast-paced production environment —high industrial and agricultural equipment traffic, extreme temperatures in an environment exposed to dust, peach fuzz and other natural elements.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, over-time, double-time and holidays throughout the duration of our pack season (May to September); this is critical to support the needs of the business and is subject to change.
