• We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process and benefits administration and entering of a high volume of employment records into our HR/Payroll database.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts including reference and background checks
• Preparing new hire paperwork packet
• Create personnel records for new hires
• Maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR policies/regulations
• Compile reports from personnel databases upon request
• Review and update HR information system records
• Explain company policies, rules and regulations with guidance from HR Mgr.
• Communicate relevant information to employees and job applicants
• Employee benefits administration including enrollment through HRIS system
• Reconcile employee benefit invoices
• Update and maintain MS excel spreadsheets pertaining to employee benefit elections, employee census, licensing, etc.,
• Process payroll as required

​Qualifications:

• Associate degree in HR related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred or
• 1-4 year's equivalent experience in HR related field
• General knowledge of labor, employment, and payroll laws
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent command of MS Office Suite programs including Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
