- We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process and benefits administration and entering of a high volume of employment records into our HR/Payroll database.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts including reference and background checks
- Preparing new hire paperwork packet
- Create personnel records for new hires
- Maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR policies/regulations
- Compile reports from personnel databases upon request
- Review and update HR information system records
- Explain company policies, rules and regulations with guidance from HR Mgr.
- Communicate relevant information to employees and job applicants
- Employee benefits administration including enrollment through HRIS system
- Reconcile employee benefit invoices
- Update and maintain MS excel spreadsheets pertaining to employee benefit elections, employee census, licensing, etc.,
- Process payroll as required
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in HR related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred or
- 1-4 year's equivalent experience in HR related field
- General knowledge of labor, employment, and payroll laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent command of MS Office Suite programs including Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
