Title: Human Resource Manager

Location: Alexandria Bay, NY, ON SITE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Slight flexibility required to accommodate communication needs across shifts)

Job Summary: LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a healthcare client in the Alexandria Bay, NY area seeking a Human Resource Manager. The candidate in this role would be tasked with providing comprehensive oversight of the Human Resources department, overseeing all facets of daily operations including recruitment, retention, employee engagement, onboarding, policy development, personnel practices, staff education, contract management, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Retention: Spearhead recruitment efforts, implementing strategies to attract and retain top talent. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process.

  2. Employee Engagement and Onboarding: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and productivity. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the organization.

  3. Policy and Procedure Development: Lead efforts to develop and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.

  4. Staff Education: Coordinate training programs to support employee development and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and resources to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  5. Employment Contracts and Benefits Management: Manage employment contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Administer employee benefit programs, addressing inquiries and facilitating enrollment processes.

  6. Culture Development: Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive organizational culture. Collaborate with leadership to foster a supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and respect.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct Human Resource management or supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • SHRM certification (SCP/CP) or HR Certification Institute Certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred

  • Knowledge of payroll processes and employee benefit structures

  • Familiarity with Federal and State labor laws and regulations

  • Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage benefit/broker contracts effectively



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
