Wollaston Alloys/CPP Boston is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team! Responsibilities
 
  • Lead the activities of team members to meet daily safety, quality, and production requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining safety standards as required by law and company policy.
  • Ensure employees in assigned department receive adequate training and support.
  • Ensures effective employee relations, coaching, and employment development.
  • Coach and provide technical expertise to resolve issues and create and ensure corrective action(s) are implemented.
  • Utilize problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the operating goals/metrics.
  • Facilitate team member workflow management, workforce scheduling and team member placement to ensure the facility and company goals are successfully met or exceeded.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
  • Responsible to adhere to all site safety policies and procedures.
  • Coach and model safe behaviors.
  • Champion safety practices at the site.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Admin, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering).
  • 3+ years supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient MS Office suite of software (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point. etc.)
  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation communications skills.
  • Strong commitment and focus on safety.
  • Ability to gather and employ data to meet organizational goals in metric driven environment.
