Job Title: Construction Supervisor Contract Length: 6-12 months Job Location: Marshfield, MA Pay: $75 per hour on w2 only Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline plus five (5) years supervising construction; OR Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline plus seven (7) years supervising construction; OR Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in a supervisory position on a multidisciplinary, technical project within the industrial, power, utility, gas or oil industries. Degree doesn’t matter its mainly experience! Side note ( field engineer was in this position once) Technical Skills Need to be able to read drawings and should have strong knowledge of industrial construction. Knowledge of LNG, gas, power or other plant construction, operations and maintenance principles, practices, safety standards and business processes. Familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes. Experience with electrical, instrumentation, controls, piping and mechanical systems are desired. Background in electrical or pipe fitting. Licenses & Certifications Massachusetts Driver's License (Required) Construction Supervisor's License Journeyman's Pipefitters License Journeyman's Electrical License Typical task breakdown: Day to day likely to show up before contractors, get the site opened, check everyone, observe the contractors to make sure they are following design drawing and safety, take photos daily and put those into a report that gets sent out each day. They will intervene, construction background industrial (piping and electrical) Interaction with team: Only stepping in if issues with safety Work environment: In the field Any Travel Required: No travel just within MA primarily at the one location. License is required.
