Plexus is hiring in Marietta OH Rate: $32/hr The ideal candidate will have the ability to layout, install, test, calibrate, inspect and maintain a wide variety of power distribution circuits, appliances and control equipment throughout the plant. Responsibilities: Layout, install, test, calibrate, inspect, maintain and repair a wide variety of complicated AC and DC electric light and power distribution circuits, apparatus, meters, instruments and control equipment which includes extensive high tension (15,000 volt) equipment. Use voltmeter, ammeter, test lights and various other types of electric meters to test circuits, locate trouble or establish safety before starting up new installations. Work on electric motors. Install and maintain supply and control wires from incoming lines in switching station to various electric furnaces and make all connections. Wire and test bridge crane controls or other complicated controls involving overload relays, timing relays and limit switches. Wire and test complicated overhead crane installations where AC and DC runs through the same lines at different times. Change voltage connections and install temperature gauges on high tension transformers. Test, overhaul, maintain and repair: watt-hour meters, overcurrent relays, meters and control circuits, load and frequency controllers, al types of flow instruments, gas combustion control systems, and PL indicating and recording instruments. Understand and adhere to all standard operating procedures, work rules, and safety procedures. Qualifications: To successfully hold this classification, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
