As Clinical Coordinators you are essential members of our clinical team, driving leadership while nurturing a collaborative and supportive atmosphere with your team. Job Summary

The BHH Clinical Coordinator is a full-time position that holds a pivotal leadership role within our Community Support Services program, essential to advancing our commitment to recovery-oriented care. This role, central to our Behavioral Health Home (BHH) model, significantly contributes to our mission of enhancing the lives of those we serve by improving health outcomes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and fostering enhanced consumer engagement.


In their capacity as the BHH Clinical Team Leader, the Clinical Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the development of the Plan of Care and directing care management activities across the BHHO. This includes providing supervision and clinical guidance to BHH Clinical Coordinators, Peer Support Specialists and assigned Interns, as well as ensuring that the BHHO meets its comprehensive requirements.


Key responsibilities of the CSS Clinical Coordinator also involve maintaining and improving the quality and effectiveness of care. This aligns with our core values of collaboration, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality care. The role demands active involvement in data analysis, program initiatives, and leadership meetings to ensure the seamless coordination of service teams and the optimization of health outcomes for our clients.


Working closely with the Program Manager, the CSS Clinical Coordinator participates in managing all aspects of the program. They play a crucial role in maintaining strong communication and relationships with key partners, reviewing/approving clinical documentation, completing intake assessments, leading internal trainings for the team, and providing individual supervision, and group supervision. This position also requires a commitment to timely and accurate documentation, active participation in supervision sessions, continuous quality improvement efforts, and involvement in workgroups, contributing significantly to the success of our CSS and Behavioral Health Home services.

Qualifications

  • The Clinical Coordinator must have, and maintain, an active, mental health license such as an LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC.
  • 2 to 5 years of related supervisory experience strongly preferred. Program management experience a plus.
  • MHRT-C certification
  • Strong and diverse clinical knowledge, including fluency in recovery-oriented service, trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, treatment of co-occurring disorders, and the principles of harm reduction.
  • Exhibits a high degree of computer literacy and proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, video conferencing, and various software platforms (Paylocity, KEPRO, etc.).
  • Demonstrates substantial experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), The Clinical Coordinator role includes not only regular engagement and daily review of electronically stored clinical documentation, but also guiding and assisting others in the efficient and accurate use of EHR systems.
  • Successful completion of criminal, child protective service, and sex offender background checks. Not listed on state or federal suspension and disbarment lists.
  • Valid Maine Driver's License and a good driving record required.
