Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Accounting to oversee and manage our company's accounting functions. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading a team of accounting professionals and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and a proven track record of driving financial success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of financial statements
  • Manage the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support on complex accounting issues
  • Review and approve journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and other accounting transactions
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements
  • Stay up to date with accounting trends, changes in regulations, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Participate in strategic financial planning and budgeting processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is preferred
