Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload tractor trailers and flatbeds using both overhead crane and forklift equipment.
  • Deliver material to appropriate storage and point-of-use locations to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Set-up and organize inventory and storage locations within the facility.
  • Support kitting and material breakdown activities.
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping expectations are followed.
  • Work with Logistics Specialist to assist with packaging and crating of finished products for shipment.

  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every Rapiscan Systems employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Min 2 years of experience operating a forklift truck, preferably in a manufacturing warehouse required.
  • Forklift certification preferred (OSHA certification preferred).
  • Large capacity Overhead Crane operation experience preferred.
  • Warehousing / Inventory Control System experience preferred.
  • Prior exposure to Lean manufacturing initiatives preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Will be required to follow safety guidelines and good manufacturing practices.
