Bookkeeper

Lonestar Caliper is currently seeking ​a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company. We use Sage 50 Accounting Software so prior experience is a plus. Good phone skills is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Compute and record numerical data
• Check the accuracy of business transactions
• Perform data entry and administrative duties
• Invoice current transaction in our Sage 50 accounting Software
• Preform payroll and direct deposit and all reports that go along with payroll
• Generate all quarterly reports and all end of year tax prep to give to CPA.
• Answer phones and take orders and deal with customers and vendors alike.
• HR Services for employees

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Previous experience with Sage 50 Accounting Software
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Previous experience dealing with customers and vendors.
