Database Administrator- Intermediate

AITC is seeking a Database Administrator - Intermediate to provide support and administration to installation database servers/systems.

* Provide support and administration to installation database servers/systems.

* Monitoring database server performance.

* Database system troubleshooting and repair.

* Conducting backup operations of system and application databases and database servers.

* Testing, implementation, and documentation of applicable DISA STIG settings on database systems.

* Additional duties as assigned.

* Requires 3-4 years of related experience.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

* ITIL Foundations within 6 months.

* SECRET Clearance

* Security + CE

* One or more of the following:

o NetApp Cert Dat Admin

o MSSQL

o ACCESS

o Oracle

o Sybase

o Informix

* Must be a US citizen.

* Able to work Overtime as required.

* Must be available to travel as required.

* Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations.

* Thorough knowledge of the software/system development life cycle (SDLC).

* Experience developing tables, columns, triggers, stored procedures, and queries.

* Experience monitoring database usage, troubleshooting data compatibility and integrity issues, and making modifications for enhanced performance.

* Able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.

* Organized, attentive to detail, and willing to pursue resolutions to issues as they arise.

* Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

* One or more of the following:

o Cloud+

o SSCP

* Predominantly indoors in a normal office environment.

* Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach.

* Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.

* May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time.

* Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

* Must have visual acuity.

* Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
