Company DescriptionSpecial Education Teacher
- Full-time / 7.5-hours per day
- Onsite only
- Middle school students (Grades 6-8)
- Self-contained classroom
- Full-time support of a classroom Teacher's Assistant (TA).
- The caseload is between and between 12 - 15 students.
- Disabilities are mild.
- Contract runs through 05/22/2024.
- Able to evaluate, prepare, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Canvas and/or Chromebooks experience is preferred.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education from an accredited college or university.
- Professional Educator's licensure from the N.C. Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI)
- Certified to teach Special Education:General Curriculum
