Clinical Director, Board Certified Behavior Analysis

OFFERING RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AND SIGN-ON BONUS.

CLINICAL DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful Clinical Director (CD) applicant will be part of our Clinical Leadership Team and provide supervision to multiple BCBAs and other clinical staff. Our CDs are also supported by an administrative team that handles authorizations, client scheduling, recruiting, and various other business functions - leaving our clinicians to focus on high-quality treatment, and successful outcomes for the clients we serve.

Our ABA service provider is founded and led by a dedicated BCBA who values quality care above all else. We also have a Quality Director who diligently oversees adherence to best practices.

Education:

· Master's Social Work (Required)

· BCBA certification through the BACB (Required)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

· Collaborate with company leadership to establish and achieve specific clinical and business goals for the Grayling center.

· Oversee the clinical center case load and client assignments to all staff ensuring equitable workloads with best possible outcomes for client treatment.

· Provide oversight of behavioral assessments and treatment programs ensuring high quality, effective, and ethical practices.

· Provide mentorship and training to clinicians in development of clinical skills.

· Effectively model the company culture and our focus on community, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

· Organize and facilitate supervision hours of BCBA candidates.

· Make hiring decisions for the center, as needed.

· Build positive rapport with client families and caregivers to ensure a collaborative treatment approach and continued customer satisfaction with our services.

· Understand and implement company policies and procedures.

· Periodic travel to homes and in the community to monitor client treatment programs.

· Deliver both positive and constructive feedback to supervisors, peers, and clinical staff.

· Strict adherence to BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance code.

 

 

NECESSARY SKILLS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· A keen interest in serving children of all ages and abilities in a collaborative, team-based environment.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and to follow through.

· Willingness to accept constructive feedback for both professional development, and in the improvement of clinical skills and treatment plans.

· Strong inter-personal skills to build professional relationships with clients, co-workers, Medicaid case managers, and other involved community members.

· Ability to build rapport and a positive, professional relationship with families and other client caregivers from diverse backgrounds.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Effective use of technology, including Windows, Google Productivity Suite, email/chat, and other tools.

· Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and motor vehicle insurance to travel between clients within Northern Michigan.

· Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions). These demands include frequent standing, walking, and sitting; reaching with hands and arms to climb or balance; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.

 

Schedule:
