HR Generalist HIRING IMMEDIATELY $14-$18/hr 

Job Duties: 

  1. Participate in the operations, services and activities of the Human Resource Development Department including position management, recruitment and selection, onboarding, Insurance benefits, and records management.
  2. Assist throughout the selection process and monitor compliance with applicable procedures. Screen applications, proctor employment tests, conduct background checks, and coordinate appointments for other screenings and testing. Prepare offer letters. Compile and prepare statistical data related to recruitment efforts.
  3. System Timekeeping of employees.
  4. Interpret and explain personnel policies and procedures to employees and the general public; respond to requests for information and assistance from employees, management staff, outside agencies and the general public.
  5. Make recommendations for improving the operational efficiency of the Human Resource Development Department; develop and recommend personnel policies and procedures.
  6. Receive and update employee personnel records.
  7. Maintain and modify the human resource information system; assist with and train departmental staff on software system; determine departmental requirements and evaluate and assess new software products.
  8. Examine and monitor other departmental personnel procedures for compliance with federal, state and local codes, laws and regulations.

Job Requirements: 

  1. Minimum of two years of experience in HR management, personnel administration, or related field.
  2. Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
  3. Ability to type accurately and proofread.
  4. Attention to detail.
