Job Title: Office Assistant
We are an established full-service landscaping company looking for a LONG TERM Administrative Assistant looking to work in a casual, fun and positive work place.
Qualifications:
- Min. 2 years of experience as an Office Assistant/ Manager, Receptionist, Marketing, or similar
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EXCELLENT customer service skills required, primarily over phone/email
- Pleasant and helpful phone presence and ability to answer questions and upsell
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Microsoft Publisher and/or Adobe creative
suite is a plus.
- Must be able to self-motivated and work on your own and unsupervised - you will be held
accountable for your time
- Must have excellent Multi-tasking capabilities and the ability to prioritize
- Must be assertive, responsible and EXTREMELY organized
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Must be able to follow instructions and learn quickly
- Ability to use office equipment: copier, fax, etc.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
- Spanish Bi-lingual a plus
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Using office equipment such as: computer, fax, scanner, copier and phone
- Typing contracts, letters and emails. Proof reading contracts, letters and emails
- Customer service, data entry, assist, create and develop promotional material for monthly billing inserts and flyers
- Filing customer/vendor information
- PROBLEM SOLVING - screening calls and helping customers
- Make banks runs, run business related errands, pick up material, parts, and equipment.
- Keep track of employee uniforms from uniform company, employee files, new hires info and packets, new hire set-up
- Assisting President/owner, Supervisor/Estimators and Client Relations with various tasks.
**90 DAY PERFORMANCE BASED REVIEW-YOUR COMPENSATION IS BASED ON YOUR PERFORMANCE**
Hours of Operation:
7:00am-4:30pm- Monday-Friday- April-November
8:00am-4:30pm- Monday-Thursday- December-March (Some select Fridays, Weekends, and Nights may be necessary)
