Assistant Baker

Petit Three Doughnuts is looking for an Assistant Baker to join our team! This is a great opportunity if you believe great desserts matter are passionate about baking and want to learn along side our founder and Head Pastry Baker.

Pay: $40,000 Salary with 3 Days Paid Vacation

Shifts: 
Morning Crew: 4:30am - 12:30pm

We’re not serving up your standard doughnut; we are serving up amazing doughnuts like our fan favorites: Samoa, Cinnamon Coffee Cake and Dreamy Matcha to name a few.

Assistant Baker / Front of House Position Details:

The responsibilities of an Assistant Baker include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Understands and follows all food service health and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure cleanliness and uphold all sanitation standards of all workstations and equipment.
• Adhere to all Petit Three recipes and procedures assigned by the Head Pastry Baker.
• Demonstrate proficiency in measuring, weighing, and preparation times.
• Follow assigned station procedures: mixing, baking, frying, cooking and dipping.
• Assist with daily inventory check of all raw baking materials to ensure sufficient inventory is available for each shift.
• Demonstrate proficiency in product knowledge and operation of all kitchen equipment
• Accomplish daily, weekly, monthly cleaning assignments.
• Communicate with management on possible ways to create more efficiency in the production process. As an early member of the Petit Three team your thoughts and opinions are valuable.

Qualifications:

• A love for doughnuts and coffee!!
• An excellent fit with our company values.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Current food handlers card or ServSafe Certification.
• Preferred 1+ years baking/kitchen experience or pastry student / recent pastry graduate.

• 21+ years or older
• Food Service license/certification: Food Handler's License
• Valid driver's license
• Restaurant back of house skills: general food prep
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Available to work: early morning

Preferred qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Manager Certification
• Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs
