Senior Internal IT Auditor

CIBC Bank USA seeks Senior Internal IT Auditor to assess the adequacy of controls to address risks relating to information technology processes and systems. Ensure that information technology processes comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. Develop IT audit programs and perform testing procedures related to risk and test objectives, perform risk assessments, and create risk control assessment matrix. Opine on the effectiveness of the control of IT environment. Develop recommendations for changes to processes and systems that will minimize risk and improve performance and productivity. Prepare IT audit reports that clearly and concisely describe issues identified and the implications to the business. Present audit findings to Internal Audit Management and Business Unit Management. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 4 years of planning and executing IT audits. Experience must include a minimum of: 4 years of experience with performing audits of IT environments; 4 years of experience with testing design and effectiveness of Sarbanes-Oxley IT related controls and processes, including IT (security, change management, computer operations) controls, and system development lifecycle methodology; 4 years of experience with auditing for compliance with FFIEC (Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council), NIST CSF (National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Cybersecurity Framework), and COBIT (Control Objects for Information and Related Technologies) framework and standards; 4 years of experience with Active Directory, SQL, Oracle, DB2, Linux, and OS400; 4 years of experience with evaluating SOC 1 reports; and 4 years of experience with Metric Stream and Teammate.
