Quality Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

My client has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer within their stamping facility. May also spend time supporting their tooling division. This position will be focused on resolving quality issues though on the floor quality problem solving and root cause analysis. Will also be working to improve quality systems and procedures and reduce the amount of quality defects. Additional responsibilities include creating and writing quality inspection and work instructions, completing PPAPs, performing PFMEA, audits, and gauge R&R. Will have direct contact with suppliers and customers in order to resolve quality issues and develop corrective actions. 65% of my client's business is automotive related so they follow the automotive industry quality standards and procedures.

Must have

- Automotive experience (Tier 1 or Tier 2)

- Problem solving techniques (8D and 5Why)

Preferred:

- Bachelor's Degree

- Customer relations exposure
