JOB DESCRIPTION
The spool cleaning position intel’s a lot of repetitiveness. It is cutting the left over monofilament off the spool, scraping the label off the spool, repacking clean spools, wrapping them, and finally labeling them. There is some lifting of boxes and empty pallets. The work area is climate controlled but this is a warehouse so it is dusty.
This position offers uniforms and insurance after 90 days of employment. Vacation and PTO is accrued after approximately 6 months, this is based upon hours worked.
Hours are from 8-5 Monday – Thursday with two 15 minute breaks, Friday is 8-1 with only one 15 minute break. Spool cleaning is usually shut down for a week July the 4th and week of Christmas. This is subject to change if production’s needs are not met.
