Senior Interior Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Fast paced and fun interior design firm looking for an experienced designer to join our team. Must have fantastic communication skills and work well with team members as well as clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manages multiple projects, working with Principal Designer to establish scope, write design agreements, develop schedules and execute workplans facilitating the successful and profitable completion of the project
• Facilitates and leads design presentation documentation, furnishing plans and finish selections for various project types
• Responsible for design concepts and productions on interior design projects, through all design phases
• Mentor budding interior designers advancing skill and design development

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior/Architecture Design from an accredited school
• Minimum 5 years interior design experience, experience in architecture and construction a plus
• Experience working in an integrated architecture/interiors team and/or coordinating with an outside architecture firm when required
• Strong computer skills (CAD, SketchUp, Revit experience a plus)
• Excellent ability to hand sketch furniture plans, layouts and perspectives
• Experience with creating, redlining and submitting construction documents and cabinetry shop drawings
• Knowledge of materials, applications, construction and code compliance
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of construction and detailing of interior design elements and can execute quality control of project documentation, enforcing QA/QC processes
• Proven ability to maintain, grow and develop new and existing client relationships
• Strong time management skills
• Must have can-do attitude with strong problem solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a proven history of developing and maintaining positive client relationships
