Purpose of Role 


The Development Customer Insights Manager will be responsible for providing best in class category management, customer, shopper and consumer insights for eCommerce Tier 2 Winners to the Customer Business Team and support ROI, Database Management and Macro Summaries.. The position will be involved in all aspects of the selling and planning process; bringing together insights pertaining consumer & shopper behavior, online/offline dynamics, and flywheel. Functional expert of an array of evolving data sets to identify both sustainable and incremental revenue ideas to grow the business and market & category share. The manager will be creative in identifying the future state needs of analytics and create the ways to test and integrate into other eCommerce processes. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Be an insights expert and ROI, apply route to market, consumer, shopper, category and brand insights to the business to drive sales for Mondelez and eCommerce Growth Platforms. 

• Ability to create best in class category/shopper analyses incorporating data from multiple sources such as custom studies, household panel data, POS data and consumer/shopper trends to deliver category leading strategies. 

• Financial consult and/or reporting to include JBP, ROI, Forecasting, Profitability, Risks/Opps to Plan. 

• Able to apply understanding of the Mondelez and its strategies as well as Customer and its goals and strategies in order to proactively identify growth opportunities. 

• Develop and execute succinct, yet thorough insight focused project plans that include cross-functional collaboration, objectives and timelines to meet business needs. 

• Leader in insight inspired test & learns to catapult our long range planning for each major stakeholder. 

• Develop and automate new ways of reporting within growth platforms. 

• Partner with Regional Growth and Tier 2 insights teams to generate, leverage and provide input to customer-specific, shopper and customer research projects that drive actionable insights for Mondelez, Winner and Growth Initiatives. 

• Partner with North America headquarter insights team to generate, leverage and provide input to customer-specific, shopper and customer research projects that drive actionable insights for Mondelez and Winner Customers. Focus on growth. 

• Partner with HQ Innovation, Nielsen/Kantar MMA, eComm Category partners, Leadership and Cross Region to plan, create and analyze short and long term business plans.

Determine & Grow Mondelez Share in eComm and eComm's share of total volume inclusive of Growth Pillars.

Qualifications
Career Experiences Required & Role Implications
  1. Bachelor's degree required. 
  2. A minimum of 5-7 years of analytical experience. 
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) required. Alteryx and advanced eCommerce Data Visualization programming experience preferred. 
  4. Demonstrated strong cross-functional team leadership skills. 
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  6. Extensive experience utilizing data to potentially include POS and qualittive/quantitative data (e.g. POS, Nielsen, IRI, Spectra and Household Panel) is needed. eCommerce and ecosystem analysis mature category programming & insight experience preferred (Baby, Electronics, Beauty). 
  7. Potential Expertise in consumer and shopper platforms such as Source of Volume, Trial and Repeat, Buyer Conversion, Consumer Segmentation and Market Basket Analysis. 
  8. Able to demonstrate a strong understanding and application of analytics and shopper insights and leverage best demonstrated practices. 
  9. Strong follow-through and prioritization skills. Initiative, self-motivation and strong sense of urgency are essential. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks/projects while delivering results and meeting deadlines.
