Description

Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will manage the daily operations of the RDC; this includes assisting with shipping, receiving, put-away, picking, and rework. Assure prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods inventory and raw materials while providing outstanding customer service as well as ensuring the Safety of his or her team members.

Shift and Schedule

This is a full time permanent position working on 6 month rotating shifts. Training will take place on 1 st shift for the first month. 1 st hours are from 5:00am – 1:30pm Monday through Friday. Once training is complete the position will move to 3 rd shift. 3 rd shift hours are from 9:00pm – 5:30am Monday through Friday. Once the 3 rd shift rotation is complete the position will move to 2 nd shift. 2 nd shift hours are from 1:00pm – 9:30pm Monday through Friday. Must be open to overtime and weekends as needed.

Position Responsibilities
  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse material handlers.
  • Schedule the warehouse material handler team members to meet the demands of the facility.
  • Assist and maintain appropriate product loss control.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
  • Secure company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the Company and standards established by OSHA.
  • Maintain a positive work environment with work force and customers
  • Organize miscellaneous projects
  • Provide management with weekly summary report including corrective actions taken.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree OR 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office
  • 2 years of experience with SAP Warehouse Management System or similar system.
  • 2 years of experience with Occupational Safety Regulations
