Packer - Day Shift - Full-time / Part-time

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking Packers in Horse Cave, KY for Day Shift – 6:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Thursday. Pay Rate: $9.50. Interested candidates should have previous Manufacturing experience. The positions are Evaluation-to-Hire. 

Responsibilities of the Packer:

• Visually inspect product for quality defects
• Remove defective product
• Fill feed trays
• Assemble boxes
• Pack product into cases
• Stack filled cases on pallets for shipping
• Perform duties on all lines in packaging as necessary 

Requirements of the Packer:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Prior Manufacturing experience
• Ability to communicate effectively – verbally and written – and work with well with team members and management
• Ability to read and interpret written and verbal direction while working in a safe, effective and productive manner within a past paced environment 

Physical Requirements of the Packer:

• Ability to lift between 25-50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, grasp, climb, and bend up to 12 hours 

Compensation of the Packer:

• $9.50 per hour
