Machinist

Set up and operate CNC Swiss Turning machines, CNC Grinder, and/or various non-CNC machines including gear hob, drill press, mill, lathe, saw, OD grinder, and grinding wheel.

Apply job duties listed according to Manufacturing Instructions and Quality Plans located in the cell.

Gage and approve part quality.

Offset CNC program as process conditions change to achieve correct part geometry.

Understand basic CNC programming language to change programs and provide feedback to CNC Programmers.

Perform secondary operations as required and deburr parts.

Communicate essential information to the production leader or supervisor as required.

Perform duties of similar complexity as assigned by cell leader, production leader or supervisor. Adhere to all health and safety regulations including 5S responsibilities.
