Business Process Analyst

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) group is currently seeking multiple highly skilled and motivated Business Process Analysts for Digital Transformation positions in Everett, WA.

As a Business Process Analyst, you will build technical solutions to address complex customer issues that require immediate response. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy and passion for data-driven improvement; digging into business problems, architectures, blending and exploring data to digitally transform the business. You must enjoy working with customers to truly understand their problems, and find innovative solutions that deliver reliable, explainable and deployable solutions.

You must be able to communicate across different functions and work in a fast-paced environment and drive projects to completion using established Program Management Best Practices. You will work a high-visibility portfolio of projects that aim to deliver data-driven insights that drive immediate value to organizational priorities and inspire a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities:

• Facilitates cross-functional teams focused on single business processes with limited integration/impact with other processes

• With oversight, collects, analyzes and documents requirements from process owners

• Applies basic process, data, and applications/systems architecture

• Learns to effectively contract with customer and/or charter project, design a process workshop based on customer requirements and objectives, and disseminate information to affected parties

• Learns to influence, negotiate, and act as a change agent with a diverse audience

• Learns to apply and integrate current strategic initiatives into process improvement activities

• Contributes to the completion of specific programs, projects and implementation activities

• Communicates with information technology organizations to represent customers and functional users on project requirements, activities, and status

• Supports development of data supporting the business case and risk analysis of process investment, returns, affordability and resource requirements as reflected in commitments, opportunities and risks to the Business Plan

• Demonstrates familiarity and use of Project Management and/or Program Management Best Practices tools necessary to assist project leaders.

• Provides support to teams to work within, integrate with or improve the existing process architecture

• Researches existing business architectural data and providing to teams in support of integration and architectural compliance efforts

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher

• 3-5+ years of experience leveraging data analytics' methods to solve complex problems

• Experience with data analytics

• Experience with developing models and solutions utilizing tools such as MS SQL and/or Python

• Demonstrated presentation skills for multiple audiences including executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Agile Project Management

• Experience with various modeling tools (e.g. IBM SPSS, R, Tableau or Power BI)

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or equivalent technical business field of study

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
