Human Resource Specialist

Express Employment Professionals in Everett is hiring a Human Resources Specialist to join our client's team. This is a Full Time contract position. The pay is $28-$32 per hour DOE.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the workforce planning, recruiting, and new hire orientation programs are aligned with our client's business priorities. Workforce Planning:

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of workforce planning tools and coverage information for informed decision-making.
• Provide staffing and recruitment activity reports to support strategic planning.
• Coordinate seasonal and special project temporary needs, acting as a liaison between the business and external vendors.
• Conduct regular workforce planning check point meetings with business leaders and their teams.

Hourly Talent Acquisition:

• Collaborate with functional leadership to develop and implement recruiting strategies and talent sourcing programs.
• Lead the full life cycle recruiting process for hourly positions, from requisition posting through sourcing and offer acceptance.
• Conduct intake meetings with business teams to align on position requirements and candidate profiles.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for production hourly candidates using various channels.
• Ensure recruiting process excellence by adhering to internal policies, tracking candidate activity accurately, and complying with legal requirements.
• Gather feedback on the recruitment process and drive continuous improvements for a positive candidate experience.

New Hire Orientation and Processing:

• Coordinate New Hire Orientation, working with local presenters and facilitating sections when necessary.
• Collect feedback on the orientation process and implement improvements to enhance the new hire experience.
• Collaborate with the HR team on new hire processing.

Other:

• Field general HR questions and direct complex inquiries to the appropriate subject matter experts.
• Provide backup support to the HR team as needed.
• Stay current on company policies, procedures, employment laws, and regulations.
• Collaborate on HR projects and assignments during non-peak recruitment periods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field with 3 years of HR experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to challenge processes when necessary while managing the expectations of business partners and candidates.
• Strong presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Comfortable working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% based on team and business needs.
