Welder/Fabricator

A local Springfield company is searching for a Welder/Fabricator who will spend the majority of the workday bending, grinding, and MIG welding on mild or stainless. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, and tape measures as well as have the ability to think on their feet. The Welder role is a critical position for incoming and outgoing projects for our clients. Our staff, including our welding teams will work independently, taking the lead on safety reporting and tracking, acting as an internal resource for recommendations for design.

Responsibilities:

• Bend, grind, and MIG weld on mild, or stainless
• Read blueprints, and tape measure
• Use hand tools
• Work closely with engineers

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in bending, grinding, and MIG welding on mild, or stainless
• Working experience as a fabricator

Full time Evaluation Hire Position

$13.00-$17.00/hr DOE

M-F 6:00 am-2:30 pm
