Job Description
General Summary:
- Stainless Fabrication, Inc. has an In-House Welding and Grinding School so you can learn a trade while getting paid. These courses consist of hands-on classroom learning in the mornings and finishing your day working in the shop.
- 10 Week Welding course consists of:
- Welding both GTAW & GMAW Grinding
- Blueprint Reading
- Basic Tank Fabrication Skills
- Basic Layout Skills
- 8 Week Grinding course consists of:
- Grinding
- Polishing
- Blueprint Reading
- Basic Tig Welding
- Learn to read Roughness Average
- 10 Week Welding course consists of:

Essential Job Functions:
- Follows instruction of the trainer while in class and on the floor.
- Follows all safety guidelines as noted in Safety Manual.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to report to work on time.
- Ability to retain the skills taught.

Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and risk of radiation. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
