What You’ll Be Doing
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ensure that all Carlson brand service standards are being adhered to as established in the
- Carlson Standard Operating Procedures handbook
- Hold an effective daily team huddle. Go over any special instructions and/or changes needed for the shift
- Be an active participant in the Housekeeping leadership meeting. Present ideas for improvement and contribute to the discussion
- Ensure that 100% of guest rooms are inspected using a 5-point inspection process before each guest is checked in.
- Ensure that all reserved rooms are ready and guests are able to check in no later than our standard 4:00 p.m. check in
- Establish daily communication with rooms control personnel at the front desk to ensure VIPS,
- Disabled, Blocks, etc. are addressed each day.
- Ensure that all training hours and unit certifications for existing and new employees are monitored and recorded
- Check out all associates at the end of the work day to ensure that all duties have been completed
What You Need for this Position
- Prior Housekeeping or Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passionate about the guest experience
- Nights and weekend availability preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
- Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to safely work with dangerous chemicals and equipment
