About this job

Repairs electro-mechanical and mechanical components and accessories, provides technical assistance to internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned);

Responsibilities

* Understanding and complying with Federal Aviation Administration Regulations and European Aviation Safety Agency Regulations relating to Certified Repair Stations.
* Understanding the operation of the company's IBM PC computer system and its software.
* Understanding and complying with common acceptable business practices for production and quality.
* Understanding and complying with all company policies and procedures and specifically those regarding production.

Duties

- Overhauls, repairs, tests electro-mechanical and mechanical components and accessories.

- Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and re-assemble linear and rotary actuators

- Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and re-assemble Motors (DC and small AC)

- Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and re-assemble gear trains and clutches


* Assists in the design and fabrication of test equipment as needed.
* Informs superiors of the need for warranty investigation as necessary.
* Follows instructions of superiors and advises them of difficulties or deficiencies that may prevent the timely completion of duties.

Due to clients needs the candidate will be required to commute to Sun Valley for the first 8-10 months. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.

Qualifications:

Min of 3 years experience performing work referenced in the job duties
Experience with Linear motion transducers, servos, tachometers, solenoids, inductors, capacitors, and resistors
Must be able read and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals
Must be able to utilize hand tools
High School or equivalent diploma
