Cashier - Full Time - Full-time / Part-time

Bowditch Ford, a family owned and operated Ford dealership, is seeking a full time, energetic Cashier to work in our Ford location. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, enjoy working in a successful team environment, desire to provide our customer's top notch customerservice, ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of energy. The hours will be: Tuesday - Friday 11 am - 8pm Saturday 8 am - 6 pm Responsibilities: * Calculate the customer s bill using the dealership s computer system * Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket. Balance transactions daily. * Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers * Answer phones and direct customer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner * Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution * Filing (Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets, Car Deal Files, Hard Copies) Requirements: * Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus * Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel * Professional personal appearance What We Offer: 401K matching Health and Dental insurance Short and Long Term Disability Company paid life insurance Paid holidays and vacation Training & Tuition Reimbursement Brand new state-of-the-art facility Family owned and operated since 1949 Employee pricing on all parts, service and vehicle purchases Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment
